The AsTRES association was founded in September 2010 at the initiative of the University Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée (UPEMLV).
It includes universities with identified training and research in the field of tourism (University of Angers, University of Burgundy, University Joseph Fourier Grenoble, Pierre Mendes-France University of Grenoble, University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis, University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, University of Savoie, Université Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris III University of Toulouse II Mirail University Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallee) and IFSTTAR.
It aims to:
- Structuring the network of universities, EPST EPSCP and French, with training and research themes identified in the field of tourism, to develop a research environment
- Promote the theme Tourism in Higher Education and Research
- How reconnnaître levels L, M and D by the professional world by fostering partnerships with outside persons belonging to particular economic world
- Fostering partnerships between network members, develop synergies on the theme Tourism in the world of higher education and research at European and wider international level (Art. 2 of the Statutes).
